Sometimes the download fails with a 403 Forbidden error or the link “expires”. This is common with media CDNs and short-lived URLs.
Why it happens
- Short-lived URLs: Some media URLs are valid only for a limited time.
- Rate limiting: X can temporarily block repeated requests.
- Private / restricted: Protected tweets can’t be accessed.
What to try
- Refresh XSaver and paste the tweet link again to fetch a fresh media URL.
- Wait 2–5 minutes and retry (especially after many attempts).
- Make sure the tweet is public and the link includes
/status/. - Try another network (mobile data vs Wi‑Fi) if your ISP blocks certain CDNs.
